Clive Matson offers numerous workshops, some in a series of ten weeks (such as Structure of Large Work), others as a monthly event (Let the Crazy Child Write! day workshops) or an occasional targeted workshop series when enough students are available (The Novel's Arc being the most recent). In addition, Clive offers several yearly writing excursions where you can spend a week in an exotic locale being inspired by the scenery, the history, the people and your fellow writers in an immersion experience. The continuing schedule of workshops and excursions is posted on the calendar below, as well as poetry readings throughout the Bay Area and special events. Clive's lectures and presentations on writing and the Beats are also included, as well as the yearly European tour and his college level classes.
